"Welcome" to HAPS Australian 50's Fair.
The first illustration was a captivating "Welcome" sign, strategically placed at the entrance of the fair to greet visitors with warmth and nostalgia. The mascot was playfully depicted waving to the guests, inviting them to embark on a journey through time and relive the magic of the 1950s.
"This Way" to HAPS Australian 50's Fair.
The next set of illustrations was designed to offer clear directions and enhance the overall experience for attendees. Entitled "This Way," these signs showcased the mascot pointing in different directions, playfully guiding visitors towards various attractions and zones within the fair. This helped attendees navigate seamlessly through the event, ensuring they wouldn't miss any of the exciting offerings.
"Shop" at HAPS Australian 50's Fair.
For the "Shop & Eat" illustrations, the mascot was depicted engaging in delightful activities related to shopping and dining. With shopping bags in one hand and an ice-cream in the other, the character effortlessly conveyed the joy of shopping and the temptation of delicious food. These illustrations were strategically placed at designated shopping and dining areas, encouraging fairgoers to indulge in retail therapy and savor the delectable treats available.
"Eat" at HAPS Australian 50's Fair.
Each illustration was meticulously designed to be eye-catching yet minimalistic, featuring a striking black and white color palette to evoke a sense of timeless elegance. The absence of vibrant colors allowed the mascot to shine through and kept the focus on the fair's overall theme.
In conclusion, my series of black and white concept illustrations for the HAPS Australian 50's Fair college project was an artistic endeavor that successfully brought to life a delightful mascot while serving a functional purpose as signage. The seamless integration of the mascot throughout the fair enhanced the visitor experience, and the charming illustrations left a lasting impression on all who attended, making the 50's Fair a truly memorable event.
